Writing Fashions

Writing Fashion Tips: Are you comfortable?
I know what its sometimes like to be sitting in front of a table writing, or sitting at the desk with your laptop typing. That's why it's always nice to be wearing comfortable clothes and un-crampable acc.

First of all, No one needs that much jewelry when writing, or dress up unless your writing about fashion. Now that's another story. Lessen up on the tight shoes and lacy dresses. It's always good to be relaxed

Second of all, We all love shoes. Converse, boots, and tight Mary-Janes are all super cute, but think of all the cramps and soreness you're feet will get.

It's always good to wear loose and comfy clothes while writing because it can also help you're mind go with something we like to call "The Flow". But it's also super important to look good too, so just so you know, looking good, feeling happy, being un-cramped, and writing good stories are in a package deal too. Relieved? :D

T-shirts and shorts are good wriitng clothes, but make sure they arn't too tight. I know some of us write for hours, and super tight clothing can squeeze the circulation off of our bodies. You might now feel it, but in a while, it can be quite unpleasent. Same with jeans and mini-skirts too. Its OK to dress down at home.

Ok, the very last thing- Jewely, hair, and extra. Long necklaces and bangles can cause *major* annoyance. Try pushing up your bracelets every minute and just have it fall back down again. Also, with hair (depending on you're type of hair), it can fall into your face and obscure you're view of what you're writing. You can either have it tied/pulled away from you're face, or clip it back with fashionable, pretty barrets. See? Fashion can be in writing too!

To sum everything up, it's important to look good outdoors and at school, but at home, its good to lay cool.

- This happy little presentation was brought to you by the wonderful Emerald. Thank you very much.

Drum Roll.....
OK, so I am so psyched. In Creative Writing, Ruby and I are official starting a new Sci-Fi trilogy. Oh don't worry, we're not quitting our current novels, but we just thought it would be something fun to do. I've never written Sci-Fi before though. I got inspired from reading the Hunger Games. Think bad guys...

Hunger Games!!!

Well,
Emerald and I (Ruby) are both avid fans of the Hunger Games,  which as you know comes out as a movie on March 23! For those of you haven't the books,  here's the buzz.

The Hunger Games is an annual fight to the death live on T.V. with twenty- four tributes. In district twelve, a poor girl with no father has a little sister named Prim. After Prim gets chosen, her older sister Katniss volunteers as tribute. The boy tribute is Peeta Mellark, a boy with an important history. She has a head start in training because she hunted illegally in the woods of district twelve, the coal mining district of Panem, a post-apocalyptic community ruled by the pristine capitol. I can't say anymore except for that an unexpected love triangle blooms, before the games begin. Let the odds ever be in your favor.

Well, Ruby here! I'm not very good with computers ( You know I'm typing as slow as a snail), but anyway, I'm writing a story. ( And in this story I'm not bungling with with words like I am now ) . But still, I need some ideas. So if i post a really weird question, don't be afraid to give me something stupid back... I love stupid ideas when I write because all the good writers
are like " Thats a stupid idea," so nobody has taken that idea yet! But anyway, for starters, I need an idea what an inch and a half tall person would eat. I mean seriously, you can say deep fried snail for all I care, just please, there is only so much acorn someone could eat!!!

Here is how it works...

Hey Bloggers, commentators, and viewers,
  Club Techie Emerald here!
OK, so this is our very first blog page....nervous...excited...and absolutely happy! If you haven't read our introductory page yet, go check it out. If you haven't, that's OK. I'll tell you a little about our club here.
Emerald..(Me!) I am the official tech person, which means I handle the emails, computers, and makes sure the blog is up and running. I'm obsessed with the magic of The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. Its an amazing book. I highly Recommend it. I'm also obsessed with the color green. I love reading and writing ,( mainly typing on Google docs). I am currently writing a series called The Atlanta Aeon; Lilliar. Ill post the link to it soon. My best friends is Ruby
Cya!

Ruby... Ruby loves writing fantasy..like *just * fantasy. Shes also really good at it. When shes bored, Ruby will use her tongue to make annoying clickey sounds with her retainer. It drives me crazy but...oh well- Its Ruby. :D An avid reader like the rest of us, she goes way out as both critic and #1 fan. Good to have handy when you need some sense talked into you. Ruby is on the swim team, and if you ever see her swimming, you'll know why. Fast, and full of energy, this writer is always active and never slows down. ( Well only if its cold outside, theirs a fire blazing inside, and you get to curl up by the fire with a good book.)
